Colossal is thrilled to welcome San Francisco-based paper flower artist Tiffanie Turner for a day of workshops in celebration of Tiffanie's new book, The Fine Art of Paper Flowers: A Guide to Making Beautiful and Lifelike Botanicals.

Join Tiffanie for Secrets of the Cosmos or Double Bomb Peonies, in which you'll receive your own copy of The Fine Art of Paper Flowers, learn the secrets of paper flower artistry, and make your very own blossom.

Single workshop tickets include a copy of Tiffanie's book; a discounted double workshop ticket includes both workshops and one copy of the book.

Can't make the workshop? The meet-and-greet and book signing, from 1:30-2:30pm is free and open to the public. Copies of Tiffanie's book will be available for purchase. 

Workshops are recommended for participants aged 16 and up. If you have a pair of scissors you enjoy cutting paper with, please feel free to bring them with you. Light refreshments will be provided.

SECRETS OF THE COSMOS

In this workshop, Tiffanie will teach you to make beautiful and realistic garden cosmos flowers in different hues and finishes, and will also demonstrate how to create a delicate cosmos leaf. Each student will make at least one flower, and be given materials to make more at home.

DOUBLE BOMB PEONIES

These peonies fall somewhere between botanical specimen and party pom pom, and are perfect for parties, costuming and home decor. In this workshop, Tiffanie will teach you the techniques to make the peony and leaves from a wide variety of crepe paper colors. Materials will be provided for the class, and you will be given extra materials to take home.
