This Book is a Planetarium—but that's not all, folks! Designer/tinkerer and paper artist Kelli Anderson has dreamed up six different fully functional gadgets made entirely out of paper. In addition to viewing the night sky's constellations, you can doodle with a spiralgraph, track the date with a perpetual calendar, decipher secret messages with a decoder, have an impromptu dance party with an iPhone speaker, and play a musical instrument.
Each pop-up tool was designed from scratch by Anderson in her Brooklyn studio, and features informational blurbs so you know the method behind the magic. Learn more about the project on Colossal.
